Hampton Court Palace

After reading Three Men In A Boat by Jerome K. Jerome, I really wanted to see Hampton Court Palace. It's not far from our house, about 30 minutes towards London. It has a maze that for some reason is reported to be the most famous in the whole world.

Our biggest mission was to see a ghost, and if not that, learn about some. This palace is so haunted there is even a ghost dog.

The photo below is supposed to be a very haunted corner of the palace.

The palace is lots of fun and definitely worth a visit. It has people dressed up in costume from the time of King Henry VIII and there is a working kitchen, my favorite part.

Plastic plaice.

Pies.

The kitchen was fully operational, this man informed me that women were not allowed in the kitchen in the time of KH8.

A Noble Boke of Cokereye.

The King walks around chatting with an ambassador. He is announced as he approaches and everyone is told to bow

The fellow in the back middle of the photo jumped into this shot
on purpose. I loved it.

Ghost of a bald man!!

Anna being ghostly at the site of supposed skeletal ghost.

You Tube video of ghostly sighting from above location.

Note to tall, baldish men visiting HCP: Stay away from the jester! He is very funny and the show is lots of fun, however, poor baldys!
Notice codpiece.

One activity to enjoy is going to see the king eat the dinner that is prepared in the kitchen.

This guard is taking his job excessively seriously.

Last chance to spot a ghost!

Anna's beautiful sunset.
